Over a thirty five year career as a professional guitarist I have often been in the privileged position to study some of the world's finest musicians up close and personal; I'm talking about being in the same room as these guys often it's the mixing room or at a recording session.Recently I found myself sitting in between two of the jazz world's musical heavy weighs; Jazz trumpeter and all round multi- instrumentalist, James Morrison and one of the finest jazz guitarists of all time, George Golla and the first thing that comes to mind is these guy's look VERY normal, I mean if you came across them in the street you won't even look twice. But there is something VERY different about the way they live, the thing that has allowed these guys to reach the top of their craft is their philosophy. At the age of nineteen I was fortunate enough to be hanging out with another top flight musician flugelhorn player Bob Venier, I'm sure you have heard Bob's playing he's the world's most 'heard' trumpet/flugelhorn player you probably don't know the name but unless you have just arrived on the planet you will have heard his playing e.G., Little River Band's hit "Reminiscing" features an extended Bob Venier flugelhorn solo.Side note. According to Albert Goldman's biography, John Lennon named "Reminiscing" as one of his favorite songs. It was Bob who introduced me to a life changing philosophy it's simple but I now know that this exact same philosophy is what makes the difference between the good players and the best players. Here's Bob's philosophy."If the phone rings, I go and play.If it doesn't ring, I practice!".Thirty four years latter this simple philosophy is one of the most important things I have learned about music, I couldn't grasp the full significance of these words at the time when I first heard this philosophy but I now know all the world's top musicians (not just guitarists) live by this exact same philosophy. If you are truly serious about being a musician read and take onboard this philosophy; you see it's easy to keep going when things are going well, everything is in flow and life is a breeze you don't really need much of a philosophy to keep motivated but it's when things are going pear shaped that's when you need a solid philosophy to fall back on that's what separates the professionals it's their ability to keep going no matter what. When I'm listening to the top players these days I can hear in their playing all their life's experiences that's what they bring to the table all the times the phone didn't ring all the gigs they didn't get and how they have never lost their passion for playing music and how much they love playing it!
A close-up and personal view of a Humpback Whale in full breach will take your breath away! The sheer majesty of a 52 foot, 50 ton creature leaping clear out of the ocean is something that simply cannot be described in words. But I can tell you how it makes you feel.Goose-bumps rise all over your body, your heart pounds with the excitement, your eyes widen in awe and amazement, you feel humble and small - yet privileged that, like this whale, you are a part of something remarkable and important. You are a living creature on this wonderful planet - and being alive is a joy! You will return to your home and your job and your everyday life, inspired and renewed by what you have seen. And the memory of it will stay with you forever. The humpback whale is a magnificent and fascinating creature. It uses complex, cooperative feeding techniques. It sings the most amazing, beautiful and haunting songs. And it is one of the great acrobatic entertainers of the ocean, often leaping (breaching) clear out of the water.I know that Dolphins leap clear of the water too - but dolphins are not 52 feel long, and they don't weigh 50 tons! The sight and sound of a humpback in full breach is incredible! Everybody should see it at least once in their lifetime. And these days its not difficult to arrange.Humpbacks are creatures of habit - they are fairly easy to find. You can see them in several places around the world -and at all times of the year. The best places I know of are listed below. If you know any other great spots - send me an email!Alaska.Huge numbers of Humpbacks live in Alaska. The majority of them migrate south for part of the year - to Hawaii, California, Mexico etc.But a substantial minority stay in Alaska all year round.Alaska has several fabulous humpback watching cruises on offer.Australia.Each year from late July through to early November, humpback whales arrive in Hervey Bay - 300km north of Brisbane. There is no better place to enjoy their acrobatic antics than from a whale-watching cruise in these warm, clear, protected waters.California.From late April to early December, large numbers of Humpbacks spend the summer feeding off the coast of California. They can be seen from the shore, from the highway, from lodges and hotels around Monterey Bay.This generation of whales has never been hunted by man here (since whaling ended in these waters) so they have no fear of us.Some of them are very curious about boats, and will spend hours mooching around and even gently brushing against boats in the area. This provides amazing opportunities for people to get very close indeed to these majestic mammals.Best idea - book a boat trip with a knowledgeable local whale-watching skipper. And take plenty of film for your camera!Hawaii.Around 4,000 to 5,000 humpback whales - two-thirds of the North Pacific population spend the winter in Hawaii. They migrate from Alaska, a 3,000 mile swim! They can be seen from most of the islands in Hawaii - both from the shore and from the numerous boat trips available.Great tip! Join the Hawaii Humpback Whale volunteer program.Every year in Hawaii, volunteers gather to count the humpback whales for a scientific project to help preserve this endangered species.Anyone can volunteer, the atmosphere is friendly and great fun, and there is a real buzz in the air as the count gets underway.Volunteers get to see the whales - they provide a vital service, and they have a fabulous time too!Iceland.Iceland is the fastest growing whale-watching location in the world. It is a stunning and logical place to watch some of the best Humpback Whale antics on the planet - But I personally recommend you Don't go there! Why? Because Iceland has just renewed its policy of killing whales for profit.I cannot recommend a location where such a policy exists.I have started a petition on my website, objecting to Iceland's official whaling policy.I would love to visit Iceland - But not until the Killing Ends!Ireland. The West Cork area of Ireland is gaining popularity as a place for spotting Humpback and Minke whales.Humpbacks are not as common here as in some of the other destinations on this list - but if you happen to be in Ireland at the right time, take a boat trip in West Cork - there's a good chance of seeing some action!Maine. The coast of Maine sees its share of Humpbacks from May through October. The Bar Harbour area has some good vantage points onshore, and some very well organised boat trips to get you close to the action.Massachusetts.The World Wildlife Foundation reckons Gloucester MA is one of the top five places in the world for whale watching.Gloucester is on the southern shore of the rocky Cape Ann Peninsula - which is close to two important summer feeding areas for the whales. No other New England port has closer access to so many humpback whales.Whale watching is popular now all over the world - but in Gloucester Massachusetts it has been popular for decades.Knowledgeable local skippers will take you to the action.South Africa.I have no personal experience of whale-watching in South Africa - but I hear it's superb! If you have been there and would like to tell me more about it - please send me an email.Tonga.In Tonga you can actually swim alongside the Humpbacks!Visit this wonderful Island Kingdom December through February for the swim of your life!Forget about all of these Sea-World aquarium places with preforming killer whales! A killer whale splashing around in a swimming pool bears no comparison to the sight of a humpback leaping from the open ocean!

N is for Nou Camp.FC Barcelona's incredible stadium is one of the biggest stadiums in Europe and has seen some amazing nights of football over the years. Also, huge pop concerts (the likes of U2) have also filled this amazing space. If you have the chance to see a a game, then I can highly recommend, and if not, the stadium tour is well worth a visit.Barça is more than just a club - indeed that it the official motto of the club, like Glasgow Celtic - it's a way of life. One of the most glamorous clubs in European history, Barcelona has always attracted big name players.O is for Olympics. Not since the triumph that was Sydney has the Olympics seen such a marvellous Olympic Games as Barcelona in 1992.Records broken, a fantastic reception from the locals and the amazing backdrop of the Catalan capital made the games such memorable ones.Who can boast a better view from the Olympic Diving boards, for example? You'd be hard pressed to find an equal, I can guarantee you!P is for Pata Negra.Iberian cured hams are some of the finest the world has to offer, and no trip to Barcelona is complete without sampling the acorn-fed, black hoofed variety, which is the most exquisite.Featured on BBC's Saturday kitchen amongst many others, this versatile meat is enjoyed in chorizos (spicy sausage), as well as simply cut of the leg in speciality tapas, and the art of carving the leg is another joy to be seen.Q is for Quatre Gats.1897 saw the birth of "4 cats" - spawned from Parisian Cabaret by Pere Romeu, a waiter in Paris who wanted to re-create the piano-lounge café bar in Barcelona. The privileged location nowadays just off Portal del Angel in the Gothic Quarter, plus the fame of being a favourite haunt of the young Picasso means that this is one of the main attractions featured in the guide books of today and is worth a mention, even if prices are hiked up a little for prosperity.R is for Raval. The central neighbourhood of the Raval is one of the most culturally diverse locations on the planet.A recent census noted that for square metres, the Raval had more nationalities registered as residents than any other place on the planet of the same size.No surprise then, that this vibrant barrio in central Barcelona has a wealth of restaurants, bars, shops and languages being heard as well as some of the city's best sights, including the oldest church in Barcelona, Sant Pau del Camp, the city's Opera House, Liceu, and the Modern art museums of MACBA and the CCCB.S is for Sagrada Familia.Previously mentioned, the masterpiece of Antoni Gaudi and "the people's Cathedral" has a special place in every Barcelona heart.Work has been ongoing for 125 years, and is still along way from completion, but the funds are solely from donations and profits from other Gaudi works in the city, meaning that the original wish of the Cathedral being for the people is coming true, slowly but surely - no corporation will finish it in 5 or 10 years for the sponsorship deals, etc.T is for Tibidabo.Towering over Barcelona and looking down to the Mediterranean sea, this mountain is a natural border for the city, and houses Norman Foster's Communications Tower, and the wonderful Sacred Heart church blessing the city from atop.Recent additions have been the fantastic Hotel Florida and the renovation of the theme park with brand new rollercoaster ride - much to the annoyance of the locals who prefer to keep the woodland and surrounding forests free of the rollercoaster and keep it as home for the Iberian wild boars.U is for UNESCO Heritage sites.Barcelona boasts 9 sites of cultural importance as deemed by UNESCO.These include Casa Mila, Sagrada Familia, Casa Viçenc, Palau Güell, Park Güell, Colonia Güell, Palau de la Musica Catalana, Hospital Sant Pau, and Casa Batllo.Unsurprisingly, 8 are from Gaudi, and see letter "D" for the other!V is for Villa Olympica, or the Olympic Village. The two towers visible from the sky were the buildings that housed the athletes during the Olympic Games, and the surrounding area now boasts some of the city's best nightclubs and restaurants, as well as the city's Casino. The towers are now the 5 Star Arts hotel and an insurance company office block, but the area continues to thrive and is a tourist hot spot.W is for Water. There are various reasons for including water to the list.First and foremost is the Mediterranean Sea, of course.Barcelona has an extensive coastline, from the comings and goings of the Port, then the beaches stretching from the old fisherman's village of Barceloneta to the Forum building. Also at the top of Las Ramblas, you have the Fountains of Canaletes - legend has it that if you drink from the fountains you will one day return to Barcelona. And finally the Magic Fountains at Montjüic - this fantastic light and sound display is un-missable, and the water jets and spurts, dancing to the themes played.X is for Museu de Xocolata - the Chocolate Museum in el Borne is a great place to visit, with fantastic chocolate sculptures, history, and creative workshops - and of course plenty to test, try and buy!Y is for Yachts and boats.Barcelona harbour is one of the most sought after places in Europe to dock your boat - recently the residents who had lived here for many years were forced out due to a huge hike up in prices.A stroll around Port Vell, crossing the bridge to Maremagnum or walking around to Barceloneta, you can imagine which boat you'd buy when you win the lottery!Z is for Zoo - the obvious choice for the letter Z, but the Barcelona Zoo is a great day out.Located in the "garden of Barcelona", La Cuitadella Park, the city zoo is fairly big and has those great little buggies to get around on if you don't fancy walking.Until recent years "snowflake" the albino Gorilla was the main attraction, but despite not being there now, it's still a great family day out.
The opportunities in real estate are mounting very fast, with almost one-third of the cranes on the earth at present being used to build properties in UAE.This explains the bizarre architectural progress and the breathtaking designs there. It is internationally renowned and is well-known as the fastest mounting economy with a growth of more than 13%, chiefly in the Real Estate trade.Due to this rise, a lot of foreign investors are heading towards UAE.There are many reasons behind the sudden surge in the real estate in UAE.The proficient personnel from all over the planet contributes in the development of the country which results in the overall appreciation of the properties in Dubai.Another factor supporting the real estate investments in UAE is the tax free environment.Though it is surprising, but no taxes are imposed on the property and income dealings in Dubai. The property laws in UAE allow the freehold possession of land by any non-residents without much of paper works as a sales agreement. The politically stable and neutral atmosphere in Dubai attracts more and more of investors mounting the price of the real estate. The existence of a large number of multinational corporate in UAE has significantly amplified the demand for the commercial properties. This in turn has augmented the monthly rentals as well as the property prices.Taking in notice all the cited aspects no one can doubt about Dubai becoming a dream destination for the real estate.UAE is also very eminent for its human made marvels. These are unquestionably the finest in the world.UAE maintains to set innovative records for its magnificent buildings, carrying it to the top and making it the most privileged real estate place in the world.
If you've been following the law of attraction you'll have no doubt come across the idea of gratitude. It seems like a lofty ideal to many, especially implementing it into one's life.Read on as I reveal a more realistic view of allowing and connecting with the power of gratitude. There's a good chance if you're reading this article right now, you have every reason to be grateful. The fact that you have access to a computer means you are very privileged to have electricity in your home or work. There are approximately 3 billion people on the planet living below the poverty line.At the time of writing this, the world's population is 6,889,700,000.A staggering figure of people are living below $2.50 a day.Gratitude means being grateful for what you have right NOW.It doesn't means that if I have "x" tomorrow or when I become "y" tomorrow I will be grateful. No, it means recognising what you have in your life at this moment is a result of the thoughts, beliefs and energy you have created to allow you to be who and what you are.Being grateful does not mean comparing oneself to others who are less fortunate; for we all have our own journey in life.People often ask me "how can I be grateful when people are homeless and dying in third world countries?" My reply is simply this. it is your purpose to be grateful NOT for what is happening in the world, but what is happening in YOUR world. Can you imagine what can happen if every person in the world raised their vibration and energy level to one of gratitude? Our collective consciousness would expand and end poverty, homelessness and other diseases and illnesses.Mahatma Gandhi said is so eloquently - "Be the change you want to see in the world." Start with simply things to be grateful for everyday and watch your energy rise. You begin attracting circumstances into your life as though each event was a miracle.People, places, things begin showing up almost instantly to remind you that you energy level is expanding in the right direction.I can find a million things to be grateful for each day. Here's a brief list which resonates for me on a daily basis; I would encourage you to come up with your own list. my health, my family and friends, having food to eat each day, money in the bank, doing a job I love and touching the lives of people, having a home, the clothes I wear, the opportunities I create, my connection to spirit, the love in my heart, the safety and security that surrounds me.I have written a number of articles on raising consciousness and how doing so can impact your life and the lives of thousands of people.Gratitude is part of the same family.Practise regularly, everyday - especially when you're having a bad day.I teach my clients to begin with gratitude for their current state of health and wellness each and every day - before they embark on their journey of weight loss in fact. How can you possibly work in harmony with your body when you're in opposition to it? You must align to the same frequency which nature operates on - the frequency of love.Life reminds us in no uncertain terms, how grateful we are when we see others doing it tough or when we're going through our own hardship. There is light at the end of the tunnel, for as sure as the season's change, so too will your circumstances when you begin to live in congruency with your highest self.So begin your journey of gratitude - a simple thank you to the universe as you retire to bed each night is a good starting point.Often when I lay my head down to rest at night, I think about the homeless person my age, sleeping outside in the cold somewhere. That thought alone ignites a deep, powerful sense of thankfulness for having a comfortable, warm bed to sleep in - I feel safe and a renewed trust that I am loved and cared for.Adopt an attitude of gratitude by extending love and kindness to others who are less fortunate than you.Expect nothing in return. In fact, perform random acts of kindness anonymously; leaving your favourite book at a coffee shop on a table with a message. One of my favourite acts of kindness is leaving a full fee train ticket at the entrance to the train station, so the next passenger doesn't have to buy their ticket.Send peaceful thoughts to others; stop judging whom you deem different to you in size, colour or appearance. An attitude of gratitude starts with kind and loving thoughts. It extends out into the universe and is reflected back in multiple ways.Start today - raise your vibration and energy. An amazing life awaits you when you begin tuning in to the frequency of gratitude.
The power of Nature has been of immense advantage to the entire human race. The eternal sources of wind, water and sun are essentials of all living creatures on this planet. The radiant energy from the sun has been harnessed since ancient times of human history. This has been made possible by using high-end technologies. The radiant light and heat of the sun account for the most abundant, renewable energy on planet earth.Using this natural source of energy in an appropriate manner can be of immense advantage to human life. The most valuable benefit of solar energy is the fact that it is forever there! The sun rises and sets everyday its power can never be lost until the power of nature exists and this makes sun power a renewable source of energy.Being environment friendly it keep us away from harmful gases, released into the air by natural agents like fossil fuels that give out hazardous gases like carbon dioxide, carcinogens etc.Solar cells do not release anything like such into the air.Solar energy gives exceptional power with zero or no maintenance.Solar panels consist of no moving parts, no worries about replacing anything, and so solar power proves to be an extremely reliable source of energy. It is also one of the most silent sources of energy. There is a varied range of sun panel systems available that cater to every user.Prices also vary; some are expensive while some can easily fall under a common man's budget. However, there is the initial investment after that all is to one's own benefit.Once a panel created, you will not be required to connect to a power grid. You can free yourself of paying monthly bills and be self-sufficient! What more? You also get a rebate from the government! Anyone purchasing a solar panel system is privileged of getting some kind of tax benefit or incentive from the government. This is an initiative from the apex body to encourage solar power and its benefits amongst people.INVESTMENT IN SOLAR ENERGY.Solar technology is continuously improving. Its installations are increasing by an incredible 50% every year.Investment in solar energy companies is a lucrative option.Solar power has always been popular. There has been a remarkable increase in investment in this sector.Over the next few years this sector will see tremendous growth. This is the right time to buy stock of solar companies, if you have not invested earlier.
It's only natural to be shocked by the latest findings of climate scientists at the Centre for Alternative Technology and elsewhere, as we gradually start to understand the impact that our privileged lifestyles have upon the planet and its people.Disturbing predictions include doomsday situations such as rising sea levels, flooding, chaotic and destructive severe weather causing crop failures and the spread of water-borne diseases, and skin cancers from heightened UV exposure.Such nightmarish scenarios are all too likely to become reality, within our lifetimes, if our energy consumption and pollutant emissions are not seriously curbed. The aviation industry is the fastest-growing source of climate-changing 'greenhouse gases', and Britain is responsible for more emissions from air travel per head than any other country. We love to travel, but with these facts in mind, it's becoming difficult to imagine jetting off on a 'well-earned' foreign holiday without serious cause for concern. However, the growing industry of ethical and ecologically sustainable tourism offers diverse, exciting, adventurous holidays which can minimise impact or even benefit the environment rather than wasting resources and causing harm.Guided walking and cycling tours, for instance, are a great way to see stunning landscapes and learn more about wildlife and plants whilst contributing to the local economy in a responsible, non-exploitative industry.Solar-powered, self-sufficient B&Bs are springing up in dreamy destinations like Portugal and Normandy. If you're looking for something more adventurous, how about cross-country skiing in Norway, dog-sledding in Finland or sea kayaking and diving off Croatia? There are hundreds of inspiring destinations in Europe which can be easily reached by Eurostar and train or sea.A night in a cabin on a ferry crossing to Scandinavia, or on one of the luxurious 'trainhotels' which cover France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland and beyond, can be an exciting, fun experience bringing back some of the traditional romance of travel.Longer-haul overland travel affords unique opportunities to see the world - if you've got a backpack and a tent, you're free to stop off and linger anywhere you please along the way.And anywhere really could be anywhere. there's even an 'adventure travel company' offering a 12-week overland voyage through 20 countries, from London to Sydney, Australia! For the serious ethical traveller, voluntary conservation projects in beautiful locations, such as Iceland's National Parks, offer once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to enjoy and learn about these amazing landscapes while making a real, positive difference for their future.Eco-tourism and responsible, sustainable living is not necessarily expensive, either; you may actually be pleasantly surprised by the low financial cost of living at a low environmental impact.Consider a cheap and cheerful InterRail pass for total freedom to travel by train, either within one country or the whole of Europe, when compared to the prices of destructive short-haul flights (not to mention getting to and from provincial airports).Still, like any holiday, getting everything booked at once may mean taking a painful bite out of your cashflow, in which case manageable loans could help to spread the cost of your unique adventures.Once you've started to explore, you might just find yourself hooked on the feel-good thrills of travelling off the beaten track.

These three critically acclaimed films are at the heart of a debate that is sweeping the nation. Is Darwinian evolution an accurate scientific explanation of the origin of the universe? Or is the true source of life and the cosmos an intelligent, purposeful designer?
Through computer animation and interviews with leading scientists and scholars, Unlocking the Mystery of Life, Icons of Evolution and The Privileged Planet answer these questions as never before.
The bail bonds industry is one which has gained a lot of popularity in recent years with the increase in media coverage on shows such as "Dog The Bounty Hunter" and "Manhunters. Fugitive Task Force".Although the majority of these television shows primarily the aspects of the job that entail bounty hunters, there are some aspects that show the life of a bondsman as well.Another popular movie that came out featuring bounty hunting as its main plot was the successful Jenifer Aniston flick "The Bounty Hunter".One For The Money. A new movie is scheduled to be released later this year in 2012 starring Katherine Heigl who seeks a career as a bounty hunter with her cousin's firm after becoming unemployed. In this movie Stephanie Plum (played by Katherine Heigl) is recently divorced and loses her job as a lingerie retailer and lands a job with her cousin who runs a bail bonds business. Her cousin Vinnie (Patrick Fischler) assigns her to an ironic task to apprehend her former lover Joe Morelli (Jason O'Mara) who was a local police officer that is now on the run. This movie is another comedy using the role of a bounty hunter to portray an ironic situation that merges the concepts of love, jealousy and spite to create a comedic scenario. The Bounty Hunter. In the movie "The Bounty Hunter" a unique relationship is explored between and ex wife, Nicole Hurley (Jennifer Aniston), and her former husband, Milo Boyd (Gerard Butler), who works as a bounty hunter and discovers that his next assignment is to apprehend her. This movie is a mix of a comedy and love story where Milo goes out of his way to ensure that Nicole has an unpleasant experience during her apprehension. The twist in this movie is that Jennifer Aniston is investigating a possible cover-up for a murder and is herself being targeted for this investigation. As her ex-husband apprehends her, initially he does not believe her story but later finds it to be true as he finds himself running for his life with his ex-wife.The Proposition. This movie takes place in the Australian outback in the late 1800s and is centered around a murderous and psychopathic gang called the Burns brothers who are suspected in the brutal rape and murder of a family by the name of Hopkins.Although not actually a bounty hunter, Captain Stanley (Ray Winstone)is a lawman who is tasked to bring the Burns brothers to justice for their unspeakable crimes. This movie takes a turn when the youngest Burns brother Charlie (Guy Pearce) is apprehended and offered a pardon under the condition that he murders his eldest brother Arthur (Danny Huston) within nine days. This movie explores the atmosphere of rural Australia in the late 19th century and the lawlessness that consumed some communities.Pitch Black. This science fiction classic starring Vin Diesel as Richard Riddick resulted in the popular sequel "Chronicles of Riddick".In this film Riddick is a ruthless killer who was a fugitive on the run but had been apprehended by intergalactic bounty hunters. After a meteor strike to their cargo ship the crew becomes marooned on a desert planet inhabited by aliens that prefer to feast on the flesh of humans. The crew finds themselves torn between securing their fugitive and fighting for their lives against the hordes of alien inhabitants.Although initially a bad guy, the crew soon discovers that Riddick has a unique skill for dispatching life forms and becomes an essential figure in defeating the aliens. This movie gained a great deal of popularity for its striking resemblance to the popular movie series "Aliens".Domino. Based on a true story, Keira Knightley stars as the lead character "Domino Harvey" in this action film who seeks to become a bounty hunter out of boredom from her privileged life.Domino is the daughter of an actor and aristocrat and finds herself bored with the society that surrounds her family life.Seeking some adventure and excitement she pursues the occupation of bounty hunting. This movie involves a variety of plot twists including mafia influence and FBI investigations. The real story of Domino Harvey was one which captivated many as it is not common for someone from a privileged and affluent background to pursue a dangerous occupation such as bounty hunter, which is magnified by the fact that she is one of the first popular female bounty hunters.Domino Harvey's True Story. Unfortunately Domino Harvey gained the majority of her success after her death in 2005 shortly before the movie was released.Harvey struggled with drug addiction and faced charges of manufacturing methamphetamines by Los Angeles prosecutors. She died in her home on house arrest awaiting trial in the summer 2005 due to a fentanyl (pain killer) overdose.Raising Arizona. Raising Arizona is a comedy that centers around a couple that could not conceive a child and decide to kidnap a quintuplet to raise as their own.The couple in this movie are. H.I.McDonnough (Nicholas Cage), a recidivist who is in and out of jail, and Edwina McDonnough (Holly Hunter), an ex cop, and their decision to snatch the child of furniture mogul Nathan Arizona leads them on a comedic ride that the audience is sure to enjoy.During their exploits the couple attempts to conceal their crime to the best of their ability while their community and friends seek to find Nathan Arizona Jr.For his $50,000 reward. The bounty hunter who is contracted by the Arizona's is Leonard Smalls (Randall Cobb). In the end the McDonnough coupled decides to return the child to Nathan Arizona and specifically state that they are not interested in the reward money but instead want the child to grow up with a bright future.Midnight Run. Midnight Run is primarily about the exploits of a bounty hunter by the name of Jack Walsh (Robert De Niro) who is contracted to catch a mafia bail jumper after the FBI fail in apprehending him.Jonathan Mardukas, aka The Duke, (Charles Grodin) is an accountant and money launderer for an organized crime syndicate whose bail was posted at one million dollars. The incentive for Jack Walsh in apprehending his target is the $100,000 bond return for returning his fugitive. The movie takes a twist when Jack Walsh captures his target fairly quickly and easily. The target however was across the US so his troubles begin when Jack is transporting the fugitive back to Los Angeles from New York. The FBI, mafia and other bail bondsmen catch wind of the capture and devise their own plots to collect on the bond return for The Duke.Unlike some of the other movies in this list the primary story line of Midnight Run revolves around the bail bonds industry and in specific fugitive recovery agents. For a Few Dollars More. This movie goes back to the root of bounty hunters where the process was based off capturing wanted men instead of modern bounty hunters which typically operate for a bail bonds company.Manco (Clint Eastwood) and Colonel Douglas Mortimer (Lee Van Cleef) find that they are both chasing the same target El Indio (Gian Maria Volonte) and decide to team up.Their exploits take them through comedic situations as well as gun fights in this Western masterpiece. The story takes a twist when their fugitive is located and it is discovered that one of the bounty hunters has an ulterior motive for this pursuit. This movie is a vivid story of justice and morals in a western setting and is masterfully written and filmed.Filled with action, drama and comedy "For a Few Dollars More" is a story that brings the viewer back to origins or bounty hunting and fugitive recovery which operated primarily off the posse mentality.Star Wars. Star Wars is an epic saga by George Lucas which almost everyone is familiar with even if they haven't seen these movies themselves. In this saga a character by the name of Boba Fett is an intergalactic bounty hunter contracted by the Empire to apprehend their enemies. In this instance however Boba Fett is more of a mercenary and man hunter who is working for a price. This type of bounty hunter reflects more of the posse days when bounty hunting began with the absence of bail bonds.Boba Fett is originally hired to locate the Millennium Falcon and capture its crew for Darth Vader. He appears in Star Wars Episode V. The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars Episode VI. Return of the Jedi.At one point Boba Fett is successful in capturing Han Solo and some of the crew member so the Millennium Falcon however they later escape while being held.No Country for Old Men. In this movie Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin) stumbles upon a gruesome crime scene where two groups of drug runners have gunned each other down in the middle of the desert leaving a substantial amount of money unattended to.Naturally he takes the money for himself figuring there are no witnesses to even know it has gone missing.Little does Moss know that a killer is already contracted to return the money and discovers that Llewelyn has the money beginning his relentless pursuit. As Anton Chigurh (Javier Bardem) pursues Moss he leaves a wake of murder, destruction and bloodshed behind him while Sheriff Ed Tom Bell (Tommy Lee Jones) attempts to conduct a proper investigation into the incident and the money. With a cast of popular actors and a well thought out storyline this movie did fairly success in the box office and has become a hit on DVD as well. The stories of the three key figures in this movie intertwine at the end in a similar manner to "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" with more a focus on fugitive hunting.Conclusion. Bounty hunting is a phenomenon that is growing in exposure in modern media.Originally this started as a concept that worked well for action movies and largely attracted male viewers due to the aggressive nature of the business. In recent years however this occupation has made its way into both love stories and comedies which allows it to gain exposure for a wider audience of people.Although once stigmatized as a vigilante and unlawful industry, the growing popularity of bounty hunting is slowly legitimizing the industry within the public's eye.It was once thought that bounty hunters were no more than crazy vigilantes who enjoy man hunting as an occupation. The reality is that within the industry of bail bonds the job role of bounty hunters is only one aspect comprising a successful bail bonds company. In actuality a large portion of clients that post bail have no encounters with a bounty hunter so long as they appear on time to their court dates. It is an essential service for the public as it allows a defendant adequate resources to properly dispute their trial by remaining out of jail pending the outcome of the trial.

There's a new breed of wealthy individuals arising today. They're cashed up and ready for adventure - but not just any adventure. They're out there experiencing the kind of adventures that only certain types of people can afford. They're calling them "Thrillionaires".Nik Halik is one of them. He's a self confessed "adrenalin junkie" who takes himself on the most amazing adventures around the planet, under the planet and more recently, out in space.Among his repertoire of accomplishments, Nik includes diving five miles into the icy waters of the North Atlantic, to land on the deck of the famed Titanic and having lunch there.Perhaps there is something symbolic in that, because this ship, made famous by the movie of the same name, was the playground of the rich and famous at the time of its demise. From the dark depths of the ocean, Nik's hunger for thrills have taken him to scale the mountains of Everest and beyond. He has been one of the privileged few to realize a childhood dream of becoming an astronaut and to gaze at the curvature of the earth from space. The package included a short stay on the International Space Station, the only manned outpost in orbit. He remembers the surreal experience of being able, in his own words, "to blot out the earth with his thumb".Nik is also the first flight-qualified and certified civilian astronaut from Australia."I have already been to the edge of space, 20 miles (32 kilometres) from the surface of the earth," he said."Now we are talking about 250 miles from the earth.".Nik's ultimate goal is to walk on the moon.Being able to afford such unreal adventures requires money - and lots of it.But Nik Halik was not born into a wealthy family. He is a self-made millionaire, become thrillionaire. His early years were spent as a broke musician in a rock band, doing gigs mainly in restaurants, pubs and the like. When the Australian fringe benefits tax laws changed in the late 80's, dining out ceased to be a "tax deductible" expense for business and the small-time music entertainment industry suffered as patrons of eating houses diminished.Nik subsequently found himself in debt and needed to find an alternative solution to his cashflow problems. Then he discovered option trading. He learned proven techniques that work and spent many hours backtesting years of data, to "get the feel" for stock market charting patterns that yield highly probable results.Through focus and discipline, he developed his own cashflow strategies that yielded him a very healthy return.Nik then used this new disposable income to invest in the property market, with such success that by the time he reached his late 20's he had amassed quite a fortune. In 2001 he founded the Financial Freedom Institute (FFI), Money Masters and also co-founded the Intelligence Group of companies and became a wealth educator, teaching his stock market and property investing techniques to thousands globally.Today, he includes best-selling author on his list of achievements.Nik believes that anyone can do what he has done.He doesn't regard himself as specially gifted above other human beings, but will tell you that it's all a matter of training your mind and emotions to shift into an "abundance mentality".Once you adjust your thinking, you can "reach for the stars".Nik Halik has done that, literally.

If America would counter the image of 'Great Satan' fostered by the extremists who wish her ill, Americans must clearly demonstrate another face to the world. We can no longer allow power-crazed smoke-and-mirrors government forces to hold us hostage to ill-conceived policies. While the government chooses to play sheriff's posse on the world stage, we the people can show another facet of our national character.Rather than the perceived attitude of entitlement, bigoted contempt or self-centered lack of concern, a display of profound practical compassion would not only change the perception of those who might condemn us, but could actually inspire a quantum transformative shift in the way humanity conducts itself in the 21st century. There is no question that the USA has been a leader in opportunity and possibility in modern history, with increasing prosperity a result. But what have we modeled for the rest of the world in the last few decades beyond behavior akin to spoiled adolescents? In spite of the ill-conceived wars being waged in our name, we the people have an opportunity to do something worthy of our privileged place. After all, Americans are essentially decent people and not ill intentioned. We are, perhaps, self-centered.Some may also be ignorant and/or lazy.Collectively we have been well programmed to indulge and consume and desire more, more and more -- way beyond our needs. But we are not ill intentioned. The problem is that we have been brainwashed to believe in style over substance. It need not be so.The past few decades have accorded a power unheard of in history to a particular segment of our population. the entertainment industry has become a behemoth of wealth and influence, and its members the idols and envy of the enthralled masses.Yet for the most part the adulation and remuneration so abundantly accorded is used merely for self-aggrandizement, and even when charity is considered, it often becomes simply another vehicle for self-promotion.But what if the members of this privileged group decided to influence the world -- not with Part III of a formulaic script starring Ego Rampant and his leading lady Ima Celebrity -- but by deciding to live on perhaps 50% of the obscene income generated by a society bewitched by 'glamour' and use the other 50% to re-create the world as we know it?What if the majority of those who have been rewarded light years beyond their actual value woke up one morning and realized that a life of meaningless indulgence and pseudo-power is tragically empty and profoundly unsatisfying?Just look at what the Gates Foundation is doing and imagine what a similar amount of money -- backed by the faces and energy of those who have been placed on pedestals of popularity -- could do.Not only to improve the quality of life on the planet, but to still the voices that criticize and condemn us.For you who have received so much it is time to give back.Start using your celebrity for the greater good.In the 22nd century very few of our entertainers will be either remembered or respected for their work -- but can you imagine the honor bestown upon a coalition of the same who, recognizing the influence they could wield collectively, sacrificed grotesque luxury and dedicated a substantial portion of their time and resources to transform the world as we know it? That would truly be the rle of a lifetime. And by modeling such selflessness, millions would be inspired to participate in a movement unprecedented in history and unequalled in impact.Attention Hollywood and the Music Industry. Stop being models of self-involvement and self-indulgence.Wake up!!! Look around.Get over yourselves.Unite.Do something of real value.Join the Evolution Revolution. All the money in the world will not protect you if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time. And if the planet becomes a hostage to terror, your millions will be small comfort. As Americans we have been gifted with the best of everything this world has to offer.Let us now show the world our true greatness by giving.
Have you seen any flying saucers lately? Many people think they have.Even now, reports of mysterious sightings are circulating in the press and on Internet forums. The modern UFO boom began in June 1947 when a businessman named Kenneth Arnold reported that while piloting a private plane he had seen nine saucer-shaped objects flying over Mount Rainier in Washington.Later that years there were rumors of a flying saucer crash in Roswell, New Mexico.According to a popular but false conspiracy theory, US Air Force obtained the corpse of a saucer pilot but covered up the discovery. The strained relations between the east and west that became to be known as the cold war had just begun and the political atmosphere was conductive to conspiratorial rumors. The number of UFO observations exceeded 850 by the end of 1947.Later, for instance the Mercury astronaut Gordon Cooper and former US president Jimmy Carter have disclosed seeing a UFO.So what are UFOs? A UFO is an unidentified flying object. Most sightings have a natural explanation, such as a landing airplane, satellite or meteor. Some are hoaxes. But for the ardent UFO fans, some are genuine alien spaceships. However, UFOs cannot originate from the other planets of our own solar system since scientists have failed to find any evidence of life or little green men on Mars or Venus. The nearest star outside our solar system, Proxima Centauri, is 4.2 light years from us.A space ship traveling at the speed of light would thus take 4.2 years to reach us.Many researchers think that space travel between solar systems is impossible. Moreover, while a number of Earth-like rocky exo-planets or planets orbiting other stars have been discovered, they are either too large or too hot.It is very improbable that UFOs hail from "super Earths" such as Gliese 581 c, which is hotter than Venus. It seems that there are some religious ingredients in UFO sightings. For some, belief in UFOs has superseded the belief in biblical Christianity.Little green men are seen as the new age saviors who will prevent earthlings from destroying themselves and their planet.According to Gary Bates, the author of Alien Intrusion (2004), UFOs often have an evolutionary connection. If life evolved on earth by purely naturalistic means, it should also have evolved on other planets. The SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) project is an attempt to prove that we are not as special as we think.Carl Sagan believed that the Earth was just a tiny pale blue dot in the vast cosmos. However, as Guillermo Gonzales and Jay W.Richards write in The Privileged Planet, our planet is anything but ordinary. Our planet looks as though it was designed for life.At best, we can only speculate about other worlds. We might never get proof of the existence of little green men for a rather simple reason. there might not be any.
